Your EGO- not so bad afterall (if you know how to use it)

Many new age books say not to listen to your ego. I say use it to your benefit, since you can use anything negative to your advantage. Normally we reffer to the ego as that nasty bug in your hear who tells you negative statements about yourself and inject fear into your daily life, which stops you from doing what you are really capable of and what you want to do. By being aware of your thoughts, see what you are telling yourself. Notice weather you are your own cheerleader or your own enemy. Use affirmations like, “I am powerful” and “I am successfull” and notice how you feel. If you feel any discomfort after saying those affirmations, it’s time to reevaluate your situation. Not untill you can say “I am successful” and really, truly believe it in your gut- can you make positive changes and live a more rewarding and happy life. When you wake up, when you brush your teeth, wheen you make your food, when you do your daily tasks - ANYTIME in your day, repeat positive affirmations. You can create your own or to start, you can use the following; “I am the creator of my life experience”, “I see everything in my life as a gift from the universe”, “I am funny”, “I am creative and make people smile”… The possibilities are endless- so find what works for you and discover the power within yourself.
